Ulaginoli to be the Knowledge Partner in SOLARisng 100s of SBI ATM outlets
Ulaginoli Energy Solutions will be the knowledge partner in solarising 100s of ATM outlets across Tamil Nadu. The Solar Plants installed at the ATM outlets will be on a rental basis and SBI will pay a monthly rent for a period of nine years. The project has been awarded to ABM Power bank by the State Bank of India and Ulaginoli Energy Solutions will advise ABM Power bank on the system design, material procurement besides providing training on Testing, Erection and Commissioning the required capacity Solar PV Power Plant for the ATM outlets.
The size of the Solar PV Power Plant for each of the ATM outlets will depend on the number of ATM machines in an outlet and the number of back up hours required. 100 ATM outlets will be solarised in the first phase spread over 4 – 6 months.
The solarising of the ATM outlets will enable the public to withdraw money without any interruption besides making SBI to reach the hit rates as prescribed.The Solar Plant will also save around 3,65,000 units of electricity per year and 3,28,500 tonnes of carbon emission every year.
